Brandywine posted their closest victory since September 3rd on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Athens Indians 2-1. For the Bobcats, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Brandywine had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-22, 15-8.

Brandywine moved to 8-13 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak. As for Athens, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.

Brandywine will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Bronson at 10:00 a.m. Athens will be paying especially close attention to the Bobcats' match: after the Bobcats face off against Colon, they'll take on Athens again at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
