Basketball Recap: West Catholic Takes a Loss

West Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 50-35 bruising from the South Christian Sailors. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 369th, while the Sailors are ranked 36th).

West Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for South Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.

Coming up, West Catholic will head out on the road to take on Northview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 58-46 victory against Belleville on the 8th.
