Dinuba won the last time they faced Mt. Whitney and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Emperors blew past the Pioneers 3-0.

Dinuba never let Mt. Whitney on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 25-22.

Emmarie Rico was the offensive standout of the match as she had 34 assists. Another player making a difference was Delilah Rangel, who had 13 kills, two blocks, and two aces.

Dinuba was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. They are 4-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Dinuba has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-8 record this season. As for Mt. Whitney, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dinuba will head out to square off against Kingsburg at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mt. Whitney, they will venture away from home to take on Porterville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Pioneers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
