Severance came tearing into Thursday's matchup with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past the Roosevelt Roughriders to the tune of 64-32. The Silver Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 23 points or more this season.

Severance got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Blake Varney out in front who posted 16 points and six boards. The dominant performance also gave Varney a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (75%). Christian Powell was another key player, going 7-for-12 en route to 16 points.

Severance smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 11 consecutive games.

Severance pushed their record up to 15-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points over those games. As for Roosevelt, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.

Coming up, Severance will challenge Wellington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roosevelt, they will head out to square off against Berthoud at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
