Football Preview: Kennedale Wildcats vs. Springtown Porcupines
After starting their season with two straight games on the road, Kennedale is finally coming home. They will look to take advantage of their home-field as they take on the Springtown Porcupines at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Kennedale lost 33-7 to Aubrey on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 590th, while the Chaparrals are ranked 167th).

Kennedale's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Springtown, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
Kennedale might still be hurting after the 43-17 defeat they got from Springtown when the teams last played back in September of 2019. Thankfully for Kennedale, Cameron Rickett (who rushed for 104 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, and also picked up 83 receiving yards and a touchdown) won't be suiting up this time.
