Baseball Recap: Mount Morris Comes Up Short

Mount Morris lost against Warsaw on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Blue Devils came up short against the Tigers, falling 11-2. The Blue Devils just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Mount Morris' defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Warsaw, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Morris will host Caledonia-Mumford at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Blue Devils are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Warsaw, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Letchworth at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
