Torres entered their tilt with McLane on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Highlanders. The Toros have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Highlanders, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-17, 25-21.

Torres can attribute much of their success to Gianna Gonzalez, who had six aces and five digs. That's the most aces Gonzalez has posted since back in August. Noelia Calvillo also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Torres' record now sits at 11-9. As for McLane, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-18 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Torres will take on rival Madera South at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, McLane is set to face off against their familiar foe Roosevelt at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
