Basketball Recap: Beaufort Comes Up Short

After soaring to 61 points the game before, Beaufort was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They were beaten by the Cross Trojans 59-30. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Caden Ramsey had a dynamite game for Cross, dropping a double-double on 27 points and ten rebounds. That's the most points Ramsey has posted since back in December of 2023. Micah Flute was another key player, putting up four points and 12 rebounds.

Beaufort's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Cross, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Beaufort wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 80-38 defeat against Goose Creek on the 23rd. As for Cross, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-47 loss against Ben Lippen on the 23rd.
