Football Game Preview: Hillsboro Spartans vs. Aloha Warriors

The Hillsboro Spartans will take on the Aloha Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Things were looking good for Hillsboro after they put the first points on the board on Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They were outmatched by Wilsonville and fell 49-22. The Spartans were up 14-0 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Meanwhile, Aloha was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 33-27 to Beaverton. The Warriors have struggled against the Beavers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Having lost for the first time this season, Aloha fell to 2-1. As for Hillsboro, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Hillsboro strolled past Aloha in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a score of 26-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
