Basketball Recap: Clarksville Generals vs. Trinity Lutheran Cougars
If Clarksville was riding high fresh off their 61-41 takedown of Rising Sun two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Clarksville Generals fell 41-33 to the Trinity Lutheran Cougars on Friday. The Generals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Clarksville lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ray McClendon, who posted 14 points. Clarksville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 62-52 victory against Henryville on the 18th. Trinity Lutheran has also already played their next contest, a 65-54 win against Rising Sun on the 18th.
