There's no place like home for Williamsport, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They claimed a resounding 77-45 victory over the Brunswick Railroaders. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Williamsport to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jahmeir Byrd, who went 9 of 11 en route to 19 points in addition to eight boards and five assists. The dominant performance gave Byrd a new career-high in assists. Another player making a difference was Ceonta Wilmore, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Byrd wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Williamsport was working as a unit and finished the game with 29 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Williamsport pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Brunswick, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williamsport has already played their next contest (against Middletown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Brunswick will face off against Catoctin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brunswick is facing Catoctin at the right time seeing as Catoctin is stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
