Leipsic is a perfect 3-0 against Continental since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Vikings will venture away from home to take on the Pirates at 5:00 p.m. Neither Leipsic nor Continental posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Leipsic is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Columbus Grove just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Continental fell victim to Holgate and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 13-0 to the Tigers. The Pirates' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Continental saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Bidlack, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Leipsic's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Continental, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1.

Leipsic took their win against Continental in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 13-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
