Softball Recap: Northridge Takes a Loss

Northridge fell victim to Carroll and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Chargers, falling 7-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Chargers: they've now lost four in a row.

Northridge's loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Carroll, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-5-1.

Northridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carroll, they will square off against Fort Wayne Northrop at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Chargers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bruins have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
