Softball Recap: C. Milton Wright Comes Up Short

C. Milton Wright blew North Harford out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday North Harford got their revenge. C. Milton Wright fell just short of North Harford by a score of 7-5. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Julianna McJilton led a balanced group of hitters, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Kendra Miller was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

McJilton wasn't the only one working in the hit department: C. Milton Wright kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

C. Milton Wright's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for North Harford, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

While C. Milton Wright had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
