Soccer Recap: Crestview's Losing Streak Snapped at Ten Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Choctawhatchee, Crestview was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They beat the Freeport Bulldogs by a goal, winning 2-1. The victory was some much needed relief for Crestview as it spelled an end to their ten-game losing streak.

Brianna Mason and Layla Young scored both of Crestview's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Crestview's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-11. As for Freeport, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Crestview has already played their next match, an 8-0 loss against Fort Walton Beach on the 14th. As for Freeport, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, an 8-0 defeat against Pensacola Catholic on the 17th.
