Volleyball Recap: Laughlin Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Laughlin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Adelson, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Adelson this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Laughlin was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17, 25-21.

Laughlin's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Adelson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Laughlin will face off against rival Liberty Baptist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Adelson is set to take on their familiar foe Beaver Dam at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
