Volleyball Recap: Dobson Takes a Loss

After flying high against Skyline last Tuesday, Dobson came back down to earth. Dobson came up short against the Shadow Ridge Stallions on Thursday, falling 3-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Mustangs were not able to get on the board.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-18, 25-18.

Miles McClurg paced Dobson's offense, picking up nine kills. McClurg got some help from Gavin Andersen and his 12 assists.

Dobson dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Shadow Ridge, with the victory, they broke their nine-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-9.

Dobson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Cesar Chavez on the 25th. As for Shadow Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Mountain Ridge on the 24th.
