Recap: East Central Trojans vs. Ross Rams
There's no place like home for the East Central Trojans, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against Ross by a score of 51-38 on Tuesday. Given East Central's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 211th in Indiana, while the Rams are ranked 490th in Ohio), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
East Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dylan Maxwell, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Pieczonka, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
East Central's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-10. As for Ross, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Central will take on the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Lawrenceburg focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six last Saturday. As for Ross, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hornets at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Monroe and the Rams are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads.
