Soccer Recap: Providence Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Ardrey Kell + How To Watch

Providence faced Ardrey Kell in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Panthers lost 4-1 to the Knights. Providence were red-hot offensively heading into the contest (they scored no less than four goals in the four matches prior), but Ardrey Kell's defense proved too tough.

Providence's goal came courtesy of Jalen Toney, who's now up to two this season.

Providence's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-3-1. As for Ardrey Kell, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2-4 record this season.
