Basketball Recap: Alma Center Lincoln Comes Up Short

Alma Center Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 59-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Whitehall Norse. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 390th, while the Norse are ranked 158th).

Alma Center Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Whitehall, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Blair-Taylor the next time they take the court. Whitehall will host Blair-Taylor at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, while Alma Center Lincoln will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
