Basketball Game Preview: Columbus International Lions vs. Linden-McKinley Panthers

Columbus International hasn't had much luck against Linden-McKinley recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Columbus International Lions challenge the Linden-McKinley Panthers at 7:00 p.m.

Columbus International is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 24th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They took a blow against Northland, falling 73-14. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 779th, while the Vikings are ranked 166th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Linden-McKinley). They secured a 59-54 W over East on Friday.

Linden-McKinley's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9. As for Columbus International, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.
