Volleyball Recap: Weston-McEwen Takes a Loss

After flying high against Grant Union on Thursday, Weston-McEwen came back down to earth. The TigerScots fell 2-0 to the Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs on Saturday. The TigerScots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Monarchs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Weston-McEwen now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Umpqua Valley Christian, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Weston-McEwen will welcome Heppner at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Umpqua Valley Christian, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Crosshill Christian on the 13th.
