Softball Recap: East Ridge Comes Up Short

East Ridge fell victim to Shelby Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 11-0 to the Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 17-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

East Ridge has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Shelby Valley, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-11.

Looking ahead, East Ridge will challenge Phelps at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Shelby Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pike County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
