Elk Valley Christian is a perfect 4-0 against Jefferson Christian Academy since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will host the Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Elk Valley Christian needed a bit of extra time to put away Hannan. They skirted past the Wildcats 8-7.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson Christian Academy). They put the hurt on Montcalm with a sharp 13-3 win on Saturday.

Wesley Tenorio was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Tenorio was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Jefferson Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Noah Lee, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with seven stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI. Lee is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Julian Snidow was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and two runs.

Jefferson Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .647. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Elk Valley Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Jefferson Christian Academy, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-4.
