Western Albemarle is 9-1 against Orange County since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Warriors will welcome the Fighting Hornets at 6:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Orange County will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Western Albemarle extended their winning streak to five on Thursday. The Warriors' pitchers stepped up to hand Louisa County a 2-0 shutout.

Western Albemarle saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Parkins, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Thursday Orange County sidestepped Albemarle for a 4-3 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Fighting Hornets.

Orange County's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Western Albemarle, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.
