Basketball Recap: Morgan County Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Morgan County couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 65-48 bruising from the KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors on Saturday. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 61-51 to them when the teams met back in January of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Morgan County's defeat dropped their record down to 22-7. As for KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, they pushed their record up to 21-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Morgan County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, they will take on Union County on Wednesday. One thing working in Union County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 21 matches.
