Volleyball Recap: Oroville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Oroville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Corning Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Oroville took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-22, 27-25.

Oroville's defeat dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Corning, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 10-17.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Oroville will take on rival Orland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Corning is set to face off against their familiar foe Live Oak at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
