Basketball Game Preview: Johnsburg Skyhawks vs. Woodstock North Thunder

Johnsburg and Woodstock North are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The Johnsburg Skyhawks will welcome the Woodstock North Thunder at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Johnsburg has four straight wins, Woodstock North has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Monday, Johnsburg strolled past Lakes with points to spare, taking the game 54-39. That's two games straight that the Skyhawks have won by exactly 15 points.

Meanwhile, Woodstock North came up short against Harvard on Monday and fell 60-47.

Woodstock North's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Johnsburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Johnsburg against Woodstock North in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 64-25 victory. Does Johnsburg have another victory up their sleeve, or will Woodstock North turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
