Soccer Recap: Duncan's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Duncan's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Noble Bears a 2-0 shutout. The victory was some much needed relief for Duncan as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Duncan's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-4-1. As for Noble, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 8-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Duncan is set to square off against their familiar foe Elgin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Noble will challenge rival MacArthur at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
