Football Recap: Port Barre Takes a Loss

Port Barre lost against Holy Savior Menard back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Devils fell 19-14 to the Eagles. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Holy Savior Menard's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Peyton Procell, who threw for 247 yards and three TDs while completing 72% of his passes. Matthew Hicks was Procell's top target, picking up 92 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Port Barre's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Holy Savior Menard, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-4.

Port Barre does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holy Savior Menard, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 47-0 victory against Thomas Jefferson on the 14th.
