Softball Game Preview: Columbus Sharks vs. Evander Childs Tigers

The Columbus Sharks will take on the Evander Childs Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Columbus had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Monroe Campus put an end to it on Friday. The Sharks lost 20-2 to Monroe Campus. The game marked the Sharks' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Evander Childs had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 22-9 margin over Explorations Academy on Friday. The Tigers not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 28th (when they won 34-6).

Columbus' loss ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-2. As for Evander Childs, their win bumped their record up to 2-8.

Columbus took their victory against Evander Childs in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 29-6 score. Will the Sharks repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
