Columbus Grove had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They walked away with a 53-41 victory over the Riverdale Falcons. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 166th, while the Falcons are ranked 493rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Columbus Grove pushed their record up to 13-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points over those games. As for Riverdale, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-11.
