Volleyball Recap: Argos Comes Up Short

Argos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the North Miami Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-10.

Mak Smith paced Argos' offense, picking up five kills. Smith got some help from Kinzlee Kelly and her five assists.

Argos' defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for North Miami, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Argos will welcome South Bend Washington at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Miami, they are taking a road trip to face off against Winamac at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
