Volleyball Recap: Righetti Takes a Loss

Righetti lost to Arroyo Grande back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Arroyo Grande scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 17-25, 25-23, 25-22.

Righetti's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Arroyo Grande, the victory snapped their losing streak at six matches and leaves them with a 12-15 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Righetti will challenge rival Nipomo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Arroyo Grande is set to face off against their familiar foe Orcutt Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
