Soccer Recap: Dominion Academy Gets the Win

Dominion Academy proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 16) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Landmark Christian Academy. The score was all tied up 2-2 at the break, but Dominion Academy were the better team in the second half.

They hit Landmark Christian Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Levi Tew, David Zink, and Dan Zink.

Dominion Academy now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for Landmark Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dominion Academy will head out to face off against Spring Valley Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dominion Academy's defense better be ready for this one: Spring Valley Academy has averaged an impressive 6 goals per game this season. As for Landmark Christian Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harrison at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th.
