Softball Recap: New London Comes Up Short

New London was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs, falling 16-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Whalers of the 15-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.

New London's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lyman Memorial, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-4.

New London has already played their next match (against Tourtellotte), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lyman Memorial also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Griswold.
