Softball Recap: Elk Point-Jefferson Falls Short Against Ranked Tri-Valley

Elk Point-Jefferson faced Tri-Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Huskies came up short against the Mustangs, falling 14-8. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Elk Point-Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Tri-Valley, they pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Elk Point-Jefferson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-1 defeat against Madison on the 6th. As for Tri-Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-5 win against Dakota Valley on the 6th.
