After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Haddonfield, Gateway Regional was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Gloucester City Lions as they made off with an 8-2 victory. The Gators might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.

Gateway Regional's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Gloucester City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Gloucester City will face off against Gateway Regional at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The Gators will be paying especially close attention to the Lions' contest: after the Lions face off against the Gators, they'll take on the Gators again at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
