Morning Star Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Galesburg Christian Lions. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-18, 25-15.

Kaitlyn Amman paced Morning Star Academy's offense, picking up 17 kills. Amman were helped by Maddie Bohonek and Angelina Kobernat, who contributed 18 assists each. Morgan Tipsword controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Morning Star Academy's win bumped their record up to 19-0. As for Galesburg Christian, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-9-1.

Looking ahead, Morning Star Academy will host Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Galesburg Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Calvary Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on the 10th.
