South Anchorage had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They came out on top against the Seward Seahawks by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolverines also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

Indy Kmet paced South Anchorage's offense, picking up nine kills. Kmet got some help from Ellie Kleven and her 21 assists. Ellie Birch controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

South Anchorage's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Seward, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

South Anchorage didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Soldotna on the 27th. As for Seward, they will welcome Houston at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
