Marsing put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Nyssa Bulldogs 16-2. That looming 16-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Huskies yet this season.
Jace Chadez made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-5. Chadez is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.
In other batting news, Dresden Wood was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Rodriguez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Marsing's win bumped their record up to 4-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marsing will head out to square off against Payette at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Nyssa, they are taking a road trip to take on Rainier at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
