Basketball Game Preview: Quitman County Hornets vs. Stewart County Royal Knights + How To Watch

Quitman County has gone 8-2 against Stewart County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Hornets will head out on the road to challenge the Royal Knights at 6:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Quitman County took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 57-56 victory over Pataula Charter Academy.

Quitman County relied on the efforts of Jaideon Peterson, who posted 23 points and three steals, and Ja'Kevious Norris, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Norris continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Eric Simmons was another key player, putting up nine points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Stewart County had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 60-55 win over Central on Saturday.

The victory got Quitman County back to even at 2-2. As for Stewart County, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Quitman County barely slipped by Stewart County when the teams last played back in February, winning 60-59. Do the Hornets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Royal Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
