Soccer Recap: Port Huron Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Port Huron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Renaissance Phoenix.

Port Huron's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Renaissance, they pushed their record up to 5-4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Port Huron and Renaissance could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Red Hawks (ranked 393rd) will meet Marysville (ranked 165th) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Renaissance will take on University of Detroit Jesuit at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (360 vs. 12).
