Recap: Flanagan Falcons vs. West Broward Bobcats
Make it six blowout wins for the Flanagan Falcons this season. They took their game on the road on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 52-21 victory over West Broward. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Flanagan has posted against West Broward since January 23, 2018.
Flanagan was led to victory by D?Naela Myers and Gabrielle Palmer. Myers dropped a double-double on 17 points and 20 rebounds, while Palmer scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Palmer has scored all season. Charlize Coats was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
The win makes it two in a row for Flanagan and bumps their season record up to 11-7. As for West Broward, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Flanagan will take on Coral Glades at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Coral Glades will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 625th, while Flanagan is ranked 222nd). As for West Broward, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Mater Lakes Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 19th.
