Basketball Game Preview: Green Sea Floyds Trojans vs. Carvers Bay Bears

Green Sea Floyds is 1-9 against Carvers Bay since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Green Sea Floyds Trojans will head out to challenge the Carvers Bay Bears at 6:00 p.m.

Green Sea Floyds is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 58 points on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Latta on Friday. They took a blow against the Vikings, falling 63-11. The game marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Carvers Bay had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.6 points) and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 34-8 margin over the Wild Gators. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 26 points or more this season.

Carvers Bay has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.2 points per game. As for Green Sea Floyds, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Green Sea Floyds was taken down by Carvers Bay 52-23 in their previous meeting back in January. Can Green Sea Floyds avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
