Basketball Recap: Orofino Comes Up Short

Orofino lost against Kellogg back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Orofino Maniacs lost to the Kellogg Wildcats at home by a 37-23 margin.

Orofino has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Kellogg, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-6.

Orofino will welcome Grangeville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grangeville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Kellogg, they will head out on the road to take on Priest River at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
