Palmyra put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Northern York Polar Bears get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 4-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The result came thanks to Jonathan Strohecker's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up 13 Ks. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Tyler Peck, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Adam Strohecker, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Palmyra's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Northern York, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-8.

As of now, neither Palmyra nor the Polar Bears have any future games scheduled.
