It was a proper cat-fight when Whitney challenged West Park on Saturday. Whitney walked away with a 2-0 win over West Park. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Mikey Zajec paced Whitney's offense, picking up five kills. Zajec got some help from Martin Lim and his eight assists. Finally, Elias Barquet and Nathan Fulkerson kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked two attacks.

Whitney's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for West Park, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-8.

Whitney wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Clovis West on the 22nd. West Park has also already played their next game (against Twelve Bridges), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
