Basketball Recap: North Reading Comes Up Short

North Reading lost against Lynnfield back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The North Reading Hornets lost to the Lynnfield Pioneers on the road by a 59-40 margin. The contest marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

North Reading now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Lynnfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

North Reading will welcome Rockport at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lynnfield, they are taking a road trip to take on Ipswich at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
