Volleyball Recap: Torres Comes Up Short

Torres was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Diego Cardinals.

Torres' loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Bishop Diego, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Torres will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Justin Garza at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Bishop Diego, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Central at 9:00 a.m. The last three games Central has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
